Relationship Therapy Intensives

Focused, immersive experiences for couples at a crossroads, where weekly therapy isn't enough and waiting feels impossible.

You finally reach the wound at the heart of your disconnection. You look up at the clock. Five minutes left. So you put it away. Again. And wait another week to come back to it. But the feelings don't wait. They spill out in the car on the way home, in the argument that night, in the way you stop reaching for each other.

Sometimes 50 minutes isn’t enough.

A couples intensive gives you the time and space to go deep — to actually get somewhere, not just scratch the surface. In one dedicated experience together, we can do what might otherwise take months.

Rather than one hour per week, we work together in focused blocks (a half-day, a full day, or across multiple days) using the principles of Relational Life Therapy (RLT) to help you understand not just what you're fighting about, but why, and what it will take to truly change.

Intensives allow us to work deeply and intentionally in a concentrated format. This structure helps couples move beyond surface-level conversations and into the underlying emotional, relational, and nervous system patterns that keep them stuck.

Couples Intensives are designed for couples

Couples Navigating Crisis

Feeling like you’re on the brink of divorce, you’ve tried weekly therapy but it’s too painful to wait between sessions. An Intensive will support you in getting to the heart of the matter.

Partners Trying to Repair after Betrayal

Trust was broken. You're both still here, but stuck between wanting to rebuild and not knowing how. An Intensive creates the conditions for that work to actually begin.

High-Functioning Couples in Quiet Crisis

Everything looks fine from the outside. But inside the relationship, something is off — something important is not being discussed. An Intensive gives that quiet truth somewhere to go.

Have Tried Weekly Therapy but Feel Stuck

You've done the work. You know the language. But something hasn't moved. An Intensive goes to a different depth — slower, longer, with nowhere for the pattern to hide.

Weekly Sessions Don’t Work Right Now

Life, schedules, logistics — sometimes weekly therapy isn't feasible. An Intensive offers concentrated, meaningful progress in a single dedicated block of time.

Couples Newly Navigating Recovery

Sobriety changed the relationship — but not always in the ways you hoped. An Intensive creates space to understand what's shifted and build intentionally from here.

Intensives offer benefits that weekly therapy structurally cannot — particularly for couples with entrenched patterns, high reactivity, or who are in crisis.

HI I’M JULIO

I’m a bilingual (Spanish/English), bi-cultural, licensed marriage, couple and family therapist specializing in relationship healing for couples navigating trauma, addiction, and recovery. My approach is relational and body-based, blending conversation with somatic awareness so that insight and nervous-system safety grow together. Whether you’re rebuilding trust, learning to communicate after addiction, or simply longing to feel close again, I offer a space where both partners can be seen and understood. I walk beside you, not in front of you, as we listen for what your relationship is asking for and move toward a more connected, attuned, and satisfying relationship.
