Sobriety opened the door.

Now you’re ready to step fully into your life.

Somatic, parts work, and trauma-focused therapy for those who know there’s more to healing than just staying sober.

You’ve done the work to get sober — but something still feels missing.

Maybe your body still carries tension you can’t explain.

Maybe your relationships feel fragile, or certain patterns keep repeating no matter how much insight you gain.

You’ve survived so much, but now you want to feel more than just “okay.”

You want to feel connected — to yourself, to others, to something meaningful.

Headshot of Julio Iniguez, LMFT

A sustainable recovery is more than just getting clean or staying sober — it’s about building a life that feels embodied, connected, and aligned.

This phase of healing often asks us to slow down, to listen differently, and to tend to wounds that never had space to be fully felt. If you’re ready for that deeper work, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to do it alone.

As a somatic therapist, I support people who are navigating the long arc of healing from addiction, attachment injuries, and trauma.

Together, we’ll listen to the story your body holds, explore patterns that keep you stuck, and gently repair the ruptures that have shaped your life and relationships.

Weekly therapy sessions are where you’ll learn how to:

  • Learn to relate with all of your parts with care and compassion (even the difficult and annoying ones).

  • Develop a recovery lifestyle that is fulfilling and sustainable (no more going back to square one or dreading life).

  • Tend to the repair work that will improve your relationships.

  • Cultivate safety in your body and mind using time tested and evidence based practices.

FAQ’s about Individual Therapy for Addiction Recovery in New Jersey and Oregon

  • I work with individuals and couples who are at different stages of recovery from addiction and want to explore deeper healing. This often includes working with unresolved trauma, attachment wounds, nervous system dysregulation, relationship struggles, and integration of psychedelic or ketamine experiences.

  • No. I work from a harm reduction approach with people at various stages of recovery — including those who are sober, moderating, or using substances with intention. What matters most is your desire to be in right relationship with yourself and your healing. Together, we’ll explore what a sustainable recovery looks like for you.

If getting and staying sober requires more support than weekly therapy, referrals to the appropriate level of care will be provided.

  • Harm reduction means we focus on safety, compassion, and collaboration — not perfection or judgment. Rather than setting rigid rules, we look at what’s working, what’s not, and how you want to relate to substances, behaviors, and your body in a way that supports your long-term wellbeing.
