The Deep Dive Suite

Focused, immersive half-day experiences for couples who are ready to move past the version of the relationship that isn't working anymore.

COUPLES THERAPY INTENSIVES IN NEW JERSEY

Who it’s for

Couples Intensives are designed for couples
at a turning point.

Sobriety changed the relationship — but not always in the ways you hoped. The intensive creates space to understand what's shifted and build intentionally from here.

Couples Who Can’t Do Weekly Sessions Right Now

Couples Newly Navigating Recovery

Trust was broken. You're both still here, but stuck between wanting to rebuild and not knowing how. The Deep Dive creates the conditions for that work to actually begin.

Couples Who Want a Powerful Start

You've done the work. You know the language. But something hasn't moved. An intensive goes to a different depth — slower, longer, with nowhere for the pattern to hide.

High-Functioning Couples in Quiet Crisis

Have Tried Weekly Therapy but Feel Stuck

Life, schedules, logistics — sometimes weekly therapy isn't feasible. The Deep Dive offers concentrated, meaningful progress in a single dedicated block of time.

Partners Trying to Repair after Betrayal

Rather than easing in slowly, some couples want to begin with depth and momentum. The intensive as a first step sets a tone and foundation that accelerates everything that follows.

Everything looks fine from the outside. But inside the relationship, something is off — distant, careful, guarded. The Deep Dive gives that quiet truth somewhere to go.

Why an intensive works when weekly therapy hasn’t.

You’re not broken — you’re human.

You’ve been through things, individually and together, that have shaped how you show up in love.

What’s happening between you makes sense once you understand your body’s responses, the patterns that kept you sae, and the ways your past shows up in the present.

You want space to understand what’s really happening beneath the surface, and to learn how to move forward with more clarity, care, and connection.

Relationship Therapy can be the place where that begins.

Weekly therapy sessions are where you’ll learn how to:

  • Recognize and shift the patterns that keep you disconnected (even when they’ve been there for years).

  • Own your part in the cycle without blame or shame (and invite your partner to do the same).

  • Practice direct, loving communication that tells the truth and builds connection.

  • Disrupt harmful relational habits with honesty, humility, and accountability.

  • Reclaim a sense of empowerment in your relationship so love can feel mutual, safe, and alive.

HI I’M JULIO

I’m a bilingual (Spanish/English), bi-cultural, licensed marriage, couple and family therapist specializing in relationship healing for couples navigating trauma, addiction, and recovery. My approach is relational and body-based, blending conversation with somatic awareness so that insight and nervous-system safety grow together. Whether you’re rebuilding trust, learning to communicate after addiction, or simply longing to feel close again, I offer a space where both partners can be seen and understood. I walk beside you, not in front of you, as we listen for what your relationship is asking for and move toward a more connected, attuned, and satisfying relationship.

What Couples Usually Ask

  • Yes — in fact, the intensive format can be especially helpful when things feel urgent. Having a dedicated, extended block of time creates containment that weekly sessions can't always provide. That said, if there are active safety concerns, we'll discuss those in our consultation before booking.

  • It's completely normal for one partner to feel uncertain. We don't need both people fully on board going in — just willing to show up. The intake session is often where hesitation starts to ease, because each person gets to share what they're coming with before the intensive itself begins.

  • Absolutely. While I specialize in couples navigating addiction and trauma, the Clarity Deep Dive is open to any couple at a turning point. Recovery experience is not required.

  • A retreat is typically a group format. The Clarity Deep Dive is entirely private — just the two of you and me. Every minute is focused on your relationship, your patterns, and what you specifically need to move.

  • The integration session is built into your package to answer exactly this question. Some couples move into ongoing weekly therapy. Some schedule a follow-up intensive in a few months. Some leave with a clear enough map to practice on their own. We'll figure that out together in the integration session.

  • For the majority of couples, yes. I've done deep, impactful work virtually — particularly with somatic approaches adapted for the screen. If you're in New Jersey, in-person is always available. Oregon clients are seen virtually.

  • Start with a free 15-minute consultation call. We'll talk about what you're coming with, whether the intensive is the right fit, and answer any logistical questions. From there, we'll schedule your intake and find your Deep Dive date.intro call.

  • Please send me a message and I’ll be happy to answer.
